Paul Burton

Paul Burton is Professor of Urban Management and Planning at Griffith University and Director the Cities Research Institute, one of the largest concentrations of urban researchers in Australia.  Paul works with governments at all levels and with industry and community groups, principally in the areas of metropolitan scale strategic planning, climate adaptation in cities and new approaches to community engagement.  He is especially interested in fostering better relations between university researchers and those beyond the academy who might use their work.
